Subject:Litigation Involving Hamburg

Jeremy:

I received the 'City Flyer' in the mail; it is well 'laid out' and contained interesting and meaningful information.

One item that 'caught my eye' was about 'pending litigation with property owned in the 'heart of Hamburg'. I'm assuming that this
refers to the issue with  former City Council Member Steve Trebesch; I thought that matter was resolved long ago in the city's favor.

Apparently not.

I previously had been following this matter via the City Council Agendas and recordings of the pertinent City Council meetings but ceased
to do so once it was determined that the City's position prevailed. However, I am now seeking additional information about this issue.

Specifically, has the City been formally served with a civil lawsuit? If so, I can probably obtain all of the information that I'm seeking by obtaining a copy of that lawsuit.

If no civil lawsuit has been formally served on the City, 1). What are the basic 'issues' against the City claimed by Trebesch, 2). How many taxpayer dollars is he seeking
from the City and  3). What is the total amount of taxpayer dollars that have been spent to date on legal fees on this matter since it first came to light (believed to be in 2018).

If a formal 'Release Of Information' document is required to be completed in order for me to obtain this very basic information, please e-mail said form to me.

Thank you.
