This 'Policy' has more holes in it than a piece of Swiss cheese; probably because the City thought that nobody would ever ask for, or see it.

With (allegedly) cellphone service claimed to be 'unlimited everything', how is 'individual usage' possibly be tracked so employees can 'pay back' the

City ??

Again, the WRITTEN RESPONSE provided by the City Of Hamburg, "$224.45 in 2019 & $213.35 (Jan-May 2020) for a total cost of $437.80." is BLATANTLY FALSE !!

Here's why: $224.45 for all of 2019 and another $213.35 for all of 2020 (so far, EQUALS a TOTAL PAYMENT of TAXPAYER DOLLARS to VERIZON for ALL of BOTH 2019 and ALL of 2020 of $437.80 according to the City !!

Yet, look at the Verizon Statement dated April 24, 2020 below marked PAST DUE that I obtained that was sent to the City of Hamburg by Verizon Communications:

single document alone, just ONE of Verizon's

MONTHLY bills to the

City of Hamburg

(shown below)

was for $830.94.

Yet, the City of Hamburg CLEARLY STATED, IN WRITING that the City PAID a TOTAL OF $437.80 for

ALL of 2019 and ALL of 2020 (so far) !!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS SECURED FROM THE CITY OF HAMBURG WERE ADDED TO THIS WEBPAGE ON

Having previously been a Hamburg City Council Member and witnessing

what was taking place then, combined with what I'm 'discovering' currently, I can't help wonder what additional 'discrepancies' and 'irregularities' in the

City of Hamburg's 'finances' for the past three years would be revealed upon a 'complete audit' by the Minnesota State

Auditor's Office !!

So now, once I've AGAIN confronted the City of Hamburg about one more (of many)

discrepancies that I've 'uncovered, they've come up with 'another set of figures'.

While I DON"T Claim To Be An Accountant, The

$237.80

that the City

FIRST CLAIMED

was the total amount of

TAXPAYER DOLLARS SPENT

has now

DRAMATICALLY INCREASED TO $3,736.67;

According To The

CITIES OWN RECORDS;

A 'DISCREPENCY' OF ALMOST $3,300.00 !!

from what the City of Hamburg originally claimed and stated !!

In case you don't know the names of the other Hamburg City Officials at least patially responsible for some of what has already taken place and the TAXPAYER DOLLARS WASTED, their names and e-mail addresses appear publicly on the 'official' Hamburg, Minnesota Website; that is funded by public taxpayer dollars. While not included to the left, the City of Hamburg 'contracts' with the Waconia based law firm of MELCHERT, HUBERT & SJODIN for 'legal services'; usually their ATTORNEY KELLY DOHM is the City's 'contact person'; I got to know her, her 'tactics' and her 'legal manuevering' all too well during my term as a Hamburg City Council Member, and she, and her law firm, 'walked away' from the City of Hamburg with $50,000.00 TAXPAYER DOLLARS !!
